Sell your Home Quickly this Year You know how it is. You've just found the home of your dreams and the sellers have accepted your offer. All you need to do is sell your current home, a goal that won't be hard to achieve according to your real estate agent. Your house then gets put onto the market and there is a lot of interest from buyers within the next few days. Soon it all quiets down. Weeks pass by, then months and still you're not any closer to selling than when you first started. Even worse problem, your buyer pulls out just before the closing is scheduled to take place. Choosing to sell your property with a real estate agent can be a rather long process. The rates are ridiculous, especially when you factor in the realtor's fees as well as the extra legal fees and mortgage payments you have to pay while waiting for your current home to sell. And if you don't get a fast property sale you run the risk of losing out on the home you want as well. Given these stressful circumstances, it's little wonder that moving home is said to be one of life's more difficult events. There are essentially two alternative options to selling your property with a real estate agent. One is to sell by using the internet. The other is using a company that will buy homes direct. These companies can be found advertising their cash property buyer offers in the newspaper or on the internet. You will find some advantages and disadvantages with each approach. Hundreds of people in the UK sell their homes every month privately. You save money on estate agent fees, which can be as high as 3%, and you get to have complete control over the deal. And you don't have to purchase a Home Information Pack from the Government after they become necessary in June of 2007 (private sales are exempt). However there are disadvantages to think about. If you advertise on the Internet, and really need to sell your house quickly, you'll be dedicating a lot of time to promoting your home. You will need to register on multiple private sale websites, to increase your chances, write a description and add it to the websites along with suitable photos. Next you'll have to deal with all of the inquiries on your own and also spend a great deal of time coming up with answers in order to help sell the property to the inquirer. You are also still open to the risk of not finding a buyer very fast or the risk of broken chains and potential buyers getting out before the sale is final. Your other private sale option is finding companies who work with providing quick property sale services. You'll get an offer from them, normally within a day or two, and the sale takes a lot less time to complete than average. The condition of your home won't matter, and you don't have to try to 'sell' your home to the buyer either. However, you should be prepared to accept a lower than expected offer on the property. These companies will, in return for a fast house sale, purchase at 10% to 20% discounts. As long as you're willing to make a compromise on price, you will have yourself an instant sale and, most importantly, one that is stress-free.
